Hands to Heal Massage Therapy has built an excellent reputation throughout Tauranga, New Zealand, and internationally for providing genuine therapeutic massage and holistic wellness care.
We are currently seeking a passionate, self-employed Massage Therapist to join our professional contracting team within our established Bethlehem, Tauranga clinic.
We welcome applications from qualified massage therapists who are committed to helping clients move toward their Complete Body Wellness.
What We’re Looking For
You will ideally have:
- 2 to 3+ years professional clinic-based experience
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic and remedial massage
- Experience in:
- Myofascial Release
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Relaxation Massage
Bonus experience includes:
- Pregnancy Massage
- Reflexology
- Fascia Unwinding
- Fascia Rehydration techniques
You must:
- Be based locally within the Tauranga region
- Hold NZQA-recognised Massage Therapy qualifications
- Be self-employed or eligible to work as a contractor
- Hold current business insurance and ACC registration
- Have GST registration and an NZ tax/company number
- Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
(Please note: this role does not offer residency sponsorship.)
Availability Requirements
Weekend availability is essential.
Applicants must be available for:
- At least four weekend days per month
(either alternating weekends or Saturdays/Sundays together)
Additional shifts are available:
- Mondays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
Clinic hours:
🕤 9:30am – 7:00pm
Public holiday and school holiday availability is an advantage.
